At our bakery we mill 100% of our own whole wheat flour from wheat berries sourced in Colorado.  With the recent addition of a grant funded community mill and sifter behind the bakery, Blue Grouse hopes to help revitalize the grain economy of Wright's Mesa and beyond by linking local growers with local bakers.  We are curious about all grains, from ancient to modern, and excited to explore the potential of our historically grain rich area.  It is a constant goal to be working towards using more locally sourced grains in our recipes.
