Good afternoon! Thanks to those who tried our new sandwich loaf and granola last week! We hope you are enjoying those. If you missed out, there will be future opportunities for both.

Scout and I are seeing fully bloomed daffodils and even the start of what I think are irises and tulips on our morning walks, so it doesn’t feel so jarring to talk about Easter on this cold, windy Sunday. We’ve decided to do a holiday menu for Easter weekend with our usual Saturday pickup (April 4th).

Online ordering is now available and will close on April 1st (the usual closing window for orders that week). We’ll have samples on Saturdays in the lead up to Easter, so you’ll be able to try things before ordering if you’d like.

We are trying a new method of holiday ordering. If you go to the website, it should ask whether your pickup location is "Daily Grains" or "Daily Grains Holiday Orders". If you'd like to order our usual menu for pickup this week, choose "Daily Grains". If you'd like to order the special holiday menu for Easter pickup (April 4th), choose "Daily Grains Holiday Orders". We're hoping this will be a smoother process, but if anyone has any issues ordering, please let us know and we'll get it figured out together.

Now on to this week...we’re bringing back the Emmer Sourdough Bread and the Olive-Thyme Sourdough Bread for a second round. (It seems like you get a better idea of how popular new items are once everyone has a chance to order them again.)
