Required posting for notification of the Planning Commission public hearing

Good morning! We have additional building updates for you this week. First, we have the Planning Commission hearing for our storefront project at 707 South Public Road scheduled for September 24th at 6pm in Lafayette's City Hall Council Chambers, 1290 S. Public Road. The Planning Department let us know that they will be recommending that the commission approve our project. The Planning Department will present their overview of the project, then we will give a brief presentation on the concept and design motivations for the project.
We don't have a 3D rendering for the building yet, but if you take look at The Little Herbal Apothecary on Public, you'll get a feel for the design aesthetic we are planning. Our designer for the project, Lynda Ladwig, designed their project as well and is also an Old Town resident.
We've had a lot of people ask about the project, so we want to make sure we're passing this news along. If you'd like to chime in and show support, we'd appreciate it. You can participate in the meeting in a variety of ways. You can show up in person (you can even sign up to speak during public comment if you would like) or send an email supporting our project that will get entered into the record. If you do plan on attending in person, please let us know, and we'll be sure to keep you updated if anything changes.

Options for Accessing the Meeting
- Attend the meeting in person at City Hall Council Chambers, 1290 S. Public Road.
- Tune to Comcast Channel 8 or HD Channel 881
- View the meeting on your computer at CityOfLafayette.com/627/Streaming-Video
- Listen to the meeting by calling 877-853-5257 (toll free). Once connected, you will be asked for the meeting number. The meeting number is 832 4397 4552. Press # after entering the number.
Options for Participating in the Meeting
- Attend the meeting in person at City Hall Council Chambers, 1290 S. Public Road.
- Submit written comments to planning@lafayetteco.gov
- Participate on your computer via videoconference at https://lafayettecogov.zoom.us/j/83243974552.
- Use the “Raise Hand” icon during Public Input to request to speak. When it is your turn to speak, we will unmute your microphone.
- When listening over the phone, press *9 during Public Input to raise your hand to request to speak. When it is your turn, we will unmute your microphone.
Some Product Name Changes
We updated the name of our Triple Chocolate Cookie to Brownie Cookie a few months back but forgot to update the online store, so we just made that fix today. We've also updated the name of our Pancake Mix to be Cinnamon & Oat Pancake Mix to reflect what is notable about it (in addition to the White Sonora flour).
Nothing has changed in either of those products, just the names.
