Hope everyone is staying warm this cold January weekend!
After some conversations with customers on Saturday about cinnamon rolls, we are going to trial offering our Brioche Cinnamon Roll on Saturday. This is what we did in years past, rather than the Thaw-and Bake Cinnamon Rolls. We'll be offering these individually (for now, unless we find customers would prefer a multi-pack), freshly baked on Saturday morning.
You may have noticed that we’ve started offering samples of some of our products during pickups. Each “offseason”, we work on new items and use Saturdays as a way to get feedback. We’ll continue to do this, so please feel free to try whatever we have available that week. Right now, we’re developing some new breads, a sourdough granola, a sandwich loaf, a stone-ground corn bread mix, and hamburger buns, among other ideas.
We'll be offering some of the cookies from the Valentine's Day Box again at Saturday's pickup in case anyone wants to try those before ordering. You can order those between now and midnight on February 11th.

In other news, we learned last week that we’ve been accepted to the Lafayette Farmers Market again this year. For its second year, the LFM is focused on building upon the first season: 90% of vendors will be returning, and there will be some new vendors to fill in some gaps. We're excited to rejoin this group of dedicated individuals (not only the vendors but also the volunteers and customers) from May to October. We'll provide more information closer to the first market date. We’ll also be at Cure Organic Farm again as well, probably starting before the LFM season begins.
Lastly, we are again this year trying to determine how often to have certain items on our menu, so if there’s something you’d like to see, please let us know. That can include new items as well - both our Parmesan Peppercorn and Sunflower breads resulted from customers asking us for something they couldn't find elsewhere.
