We ran into some technical difficulties with our newsletter system, so today’s email is getting to you much later than usual.

There are four more weeks left for the Lafayette Farmers Market, and we are more than happy to see the cooler fall weather finally show up after a toasty market season. The foot traffic has evened out a bit throughout the day, so if you haven’t been to the market recently, the weather is definitely making is much more enjoyable. We’re really seeing a growing foundation for a solid food-focused market, so we are excited to see where things go next year.

The big news this week is that we did receive approval for our storefront project at 707 South Public Road. This is a significant milestone for us and lets us move forward on the actual implementation. We had connected with some contractors last year, but with the delays in the review process, we pulled back until we had approval. Now that we are approved, we are back to working out the details. If you know of any contractors that work on smaller commercial projects, please do send them our way (email paul@dailygrains.co directly).
