Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a good holiday! We will be back with order pickups at our house this Saturday, January 10th, and the online menu is now open for ordering.
We finished the year with our biggest Saturday pickup (by far), and the holiday “pilot" gave us some valuable lessons with plenty of time before next season. For those who ordered holiday items, thanks for bearing with us as we navigated using Square in a new way. Hope you enjoyed the babkas, cookies, and thaw-and-bakes!
Looking back on 2025, this was a year of more growth than I realized. Each year, we have doubled our sales, and that happened again in 2025. Here’s 2025 by the numbers:
100 bags of specialty flour (Einkorn, White Sonora, etc.)
3,743 cookies
273 pancake mixes
8,826 loaves
85 baguettes
70 orders of hot rolls
1,212 bags of English muffins
That kind of growth doesn’t happen without you, our customers. We appreciate all of you for sticking with us on this journey! Thanks for bearing with us when things don't bake exactly as we'd like, for keeping us energized, for sharing bread with friends, family, and neighbors, and for making this feel like a community, which it very much is.
One note on this week’s menu: we’re going with the Country Loaf instead of the Spelt Loaf this week, but the Country will still be a blend that contains Spelt. (We want a chance to play around with some grain blends.)
Next week, we’ll begin to cover where we’re heading in 2026. For now, just know that we’re already working on some new items that we hope to launch in the coming weeks.
