Hi all! Just a few bread notes after a long week...for those who've been asking, this week is indeed Sandwich Loaf. We'll have that at Cure on Wednesday and Saturday plus the Lafayette Farmers Market on Sunday. You'll also find it on the menu below for Saturday pre-order. Now's a great time for some sandwich art (see above for inspiration) with all of the summer vegetables at their peak. I'm hearing a lot about BLTs for one thing...

We're going to try something new with the Herbed Cheddar this week, putting it into Kamut, an ancient wheat we use for our Baguettes, Rosemary Olive Oil, Roasted Garlic, and Sesame Breads. Kamut is our favorite grain for pizza dough, and we think it'll stand up well with the pizza-inspired herb blend.
