We've mentioned that we are back at Cure Organic Farm for our weekly popup on Saturdays from 12-4pm. This week, we've added Cure back as an option for your pre-order pickup. When you are ordering, you can swap your pickup location to be here in Lafayette at our home (208 Bass Circle) or in Boulder at Cure (7416 Valmont Road).

Since things are getting busier for everyone with the warmer weather, we've also made another adjustment to the order process, hopefully making things a little easier for you. We've removed the assigning specific pickup times from the ordering system, so you are free to pick up your order at any time during our scheduled hours. For Lafayette, pickup times are between 10:00am and 2:00pm and for Cure, they are 12:00pm to 4:00pm. When you are ordering, you'll also see the pickup hours noted on the checkout screen.

We've have finally started experimenting with Sourdough Crackers in the Daily Grains Test Kitchen this week. Crackers have always been a staple for our weekly shopping, but without the ancient and heritage grains we love so much in our bread, the flavors really fall flat.

This first experiment is using 100% stone-ground White Sonora wheat and a seasoning mix we had on hand from King Arthur Flour. We've got a few ideas we're playing with, including seeded, cheese, animal, and rye. We're not too far from replacing our store-bought crackers with our own on a permanent basis. Feel free to let us know if you'd be interested in crackers as we'll be tweaking our recipes and techniques over the coming weeks.
